The Statue of Anne Frank at Merwedeplein in Amsterdam is a statue of the Jewish girl Anne Frank. She died during the Holocaust at the age of fifteen. Because of her diary, Anne Frank became the worldwide symbol of victims of the Holocaust. Anne Frank is portrayed burdened on 6 July 1942. On that Monday morning, she looks back one last time at her parental home before she and her parents Otto and Edith Frank leave for their hiding place.
